Macroevolution Diversification
|
Research in the Fish Diversity lab explores broad macroevolutionary patterns of biological diversity, specifically the environmental, genomic, and morphological factors which promote the evolution and diversification of living and fossil fishes. We leverage data from museum collections, genomic techniques, fieldwork, and the paleontological record to uncover new insights into the large-scale processes and dynamics that have shaped the evolutionary trajectory of fishes.
